Idol coming exclusively to DVD, April 24, 2007

Indie-Pictures is proud to announce the exclusive DVD release of the acclaimed independent film, “Idol”. Directors Chris Long and Mike Heim deliver a first rate mocumentary of the woes of making it big in the Hollywood entertainment industry. “Idol” chronicles Kerry Mitchell, an unsuccessful actor who makes a living entertaining children in a carrot suit. Due to an unfortunate accident to a popular actor in a successful, but now at-risk, TV show, Kerry has the opportunity to replace him. “Idol” follows the week of transformation from average Joe (in a carrot costume) to TV Star; with the help of many people. But Kerryis carrying a secret that risks not only his career but the entire show. “Idol” is a fast paced comedy that rattles the Hollywood phenomenon of instant celebrity. Made in the same vein as Best in Show, the only way you know it is not a real documentary is that the actors’ improvisations are way too funny to be real. “Idol” hits stores on Tuesday, April 24th, 2007 with a pre-order date of March 30th, 2007. “Idol” will have a Suggested Retail Price of $26.95. Retailers may order “Idol” by contacting Indie-Pictures at 310-289-9595 or info@indie-pictures.com. And, individual customers may order the DVD directly at www.Indie-Pictures.com or at quality independent DVD and music retailers.
